We model the love of Christ by helping the underserved, the disadvantaged, and others broken by life's circumstances. While providing immediate needs such as food, clothing, and shelter, outreach volunteers also offer service, emotional, and spiritual support.

Room in the Inn
Every Tuesday, November - March
Sign-ups now available! St. George’s hosts 12 men every Tuesday evening from November through March. We need innkeepers and bus drivers, food for dinner, breakfast and sack lunches-to-go, as well as hospitality volunteers and laundry coordinators. Learn more about each need and sign up online.
Over and over in the Bible we are called, commanded, and encouraged to serve one another, to consider the interests of others even above our own, and to imitate Jesus, whose life on earth was filled with acts of compassion. In 1 John, the Apostle John writes, “Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.” Jesus commanded us to love our neighbors as ourselves with an active love. To live more fully into this calling, St. George’s has begun a tradition of regular Mission Days in which we go out as volunteers to serve our community. A sign up form will be posted here closer to the date.
Next Mission Day: Saturday, April 22
We hope you will explore how you might serve both at St. George’s and with our community partners by clicking one of the buttons below. There are opportunities for all ages and all abilities!
