Serving girls of all ages in Honduras

If you have spent any time at St. George’s, you have undoubtedly heard about our 30+ year partnership with Our Little Roses (OLR) in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Our Little Roses is devoted to improving the quality of life of girls in Honduras, nurturing them through God’s love, and offering life-changing opportunities including education, healthcare, and housing. As a group, St. George’s travels to Honduras each February and June for mentoring, fellowship, and sharing the love of Christ. Even if you can’t join us on a trip to Honduras, you can support Our Little Roses through financial sponsorship, donating to our holiday dress collection, filling Gift Boxes of Love in the spring, and writing notes of love and encouragement throughout the year.

How to help: Travel to Honduras and continue this relational ministry, and participate in St. George’s annual gift box and dress collections. You may also sponsor a child—learn more here.

Annual Dress & Gift Box Collections

Party Dresses | Sundays, November 5 & 12, 2023

Donate new or gently used party dresses for Christmas in girls' sizes for 6-month-olds to juniors size 18.  They’ll be delivered to Our Little Roses in Honduras, a residential home for girls aged 18 and under. Questions? Contact Patsy Curry.

Gift Boxes | Sundays, April 14 - 28, 2024

Come to the Gathering Space on Sunday, April 14 to select an empty gift box for a particular child. Use the included list of suggestions to fill your box to the brim with small items and toys, then return the box to the Gathering Space on Sunday April 21 or 28. Mission Trips to Our Little Roses

February 7-12, 2024

Join us this February for our annual trip to visit the girls of Our Little Roses. This trip is composed of adults from St. George’s and other friends from across the US. All are welcome! We stay at the Copantl Hotel and Convention Center in San Pedro Sula and have professional drivers for transportation. A typical day on this trip includes games, arts and crafts, fellowship, meals with the girls, and swimming. The group also throws a Valentine’s Day party for the girls and takes them on an additional fun outing. The deadline to register is December 17, 2023. June 16-24, 2024

Join us this June for our annual trip to visit the girls of Our Little Roses. This multi-generational trip is composed of youth, single adults, and families. Youth traveling without a guardian must have completed 9th grade. All are welcome! We stay at the Copantl Hotel and Convention Center in San Pedro Sula and have professional drivers for transportation. A typical day on this trip includes games, arts and crafts, fellowship, meals with the girls, and swimming. The group also takes the girls on a day trip to the beach and an additional fun outing.
