The organizations below serve lots of families in Nashville, including many families who have relocated from Afghanistan. These are excellent organizations provided needed goods and services, and we encourage you to learn more about any of them if you'd like to help.

Thriftsmart

Receive donations of clothing and household items which are made available for sale in their thrift store. Afghan families receive gift cards to shop for items they need. To ensure that your goods will be considered for Afghan families, designate “NICE” as the recipient when dropping off donations. There is a donation bin at the Belle Meade Police Station.

Community Resource Center

Community Resource Center (CRC Nashville) has developed a wish list for Afghan families. You may purchase items from the list, and they will be sent directly to Community Resource Center for distribution.
