The Rev. Dr. Jeremy Begbie

Dr. Jeremy Begbie is Thomas A. Langford Distinguished Research Professor of Theology at Duke Divinity School, and the McDonald Agape Director and founder of Duke Initiatives in Theology and the Arts. He is an ordained minister, a classically-trained musician, and all-around engaging speaker. Dr. Begbie is so kind to have visited St. George’s several times since 2017, and he’s been a big influence in this congregation’s longing to embrace art and music as expressions of our faith. We were delighted to have him serve as our guest preacher at the 8:45 and 11:00am services.
