Prayer Partnership

We believe every young person needs a team of adults to intentionally invest in their lives through prayer! We are launching a new initiative to have all of our youth and children partnered with an adult who commits to praying for them throughout the upcoming school year. Our hope is that this partnership will build up the next generation of Christians by investing in intergenerational relationships through the practice of prayer. Particularly in a time when we have to remain distanced from our church community, our vision is that this will enrich and build up the lives of our youth, children, and adults as we invest in a culture of prayer, mentorship, and intergenerational relationships.

How to Participate

1. Sign up!

You can sign up members of your family to participate as adults, youth (grades 7 - university), or children (grades 6 and under).  As you sign up, feel free to request a specific Prayer Partner, but know that we cannot guarantee that you will be matched as requested.  There is no fee to register, but adults and youth may make a $10 donation to cover the cost of a book that will be provided for them. Click on the red button above to get started.

2. Fill out the ‘Get to Know Me” sheet below.

Adult         Youth       Children  (to be filled out by a parent)

Send your information back in the way that is best for you: email or mail to Sadie Zoradi at sadie.zoradi@stgeorgesnashville.org (or 4715 Harding Rd, Nashville, TN 37205). These will be given to your future prayer partner.

3. Adults & Youth Pick up a Prayer Guide

Beginning September 1, come by the church office to pick up your copy of Pray for Me. If you are unable to come to the church, please email our Youth Director, Sadie Zoradi, at sadie.zoradi@stgeorgesnashville.org, who will drop a copy to your home. This book provides adults and youth a helpful tool to guide their prayers and introduces the "7 Essentials for Discipleship." (Younger children will not have a book for their participation.)

4. Connect with Your Prayer Partner

Expect an email from the church connecting you and your new Prayer Partner! (Parents will be the primary point of contact for children in grades 6 or under.) Connect with your new partner and identify some ways to keep in touch throughout the year - see below for suggestions.

5. Start Praying!

The commitment to pray for your partner will run through the 2020-21 school year and end in May.

Suggestions for Staying Connected

We hope that you will connect with your Prayer Partner(s) at least every other week in some way throughout the year. This can be a simple text message, email, note of encouragement, or even a Zoom call! The goal is to steadily build a relationship together with prayer operating as the bridge in your relationship. Click here for some helpful guides on how to connect!

We are so excited to see how God will work in the lives of our community through the power of prayer and intergenerational relationships! Thank you for being a part of this ministry.
