We are pleased to announce that Katie Arata has joined St. George’s staff as our new full-time Director of Development, effective August 1. Many will recognize Katie from traditional Sunday worship, where she has been a member of St. George's Choir since 2015.

Katie is a native of Nashville, a classical musician, and devoted advocate for the arts and community. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Marketing, Development, and Philanthropy for the Virginia Law Foundation.

She shares about her new role, “I believe in what can be created when many voices, abilities, and gifts come together in a shared mission. While I am excited to deepen my own contributions through this role, I am especially excited to connect with those known and new to St. George’s and to help cultivate a community where everyone can contribute their unique gifts to this ensemble.”
