Monthly Parish Dinner & Formation
Wednesday, October 5
We’ll gather every month around the table to share a meal and strengthen our bonds as a church family. After dinner we’ll disperse for optional formation time. Come just for dinner or stay for the whole program!
Church in the Yard
Church of the Holy Trinity downtown hosts an outdoor Eucharist on Sundays at 1:00pm, then serves hungry attendees with a hot meal and sack lunch to go. St. George’s volunteers are needed to prepare food Saturday morning and to set up worship and serve the meal on Sunday afternoon.
Men's Basketball Night
1st & 3rd Tuesdays
All men of St. George’s are invited for an evening of five-on-five pick-up basketball in Legacy Hall on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of every month. No reservations required – join us at 5:45pm and be ready to play. See you there!

Yoga for All
Monday, September 26
Mary Gilliam's yoga class will be accessible and enjoyable for all with a focus on relaxing, gentle stretching and strengthening, overall breathing, and moving in a healthy way.

Join other young, professional women for a cozy night with dinner, short films, and good conversation.
Saturday, October 1
Participants will learn how to maintain situational awareness, identify threats, engage in verbal conflict resolution, and more. This event is for anyone interested in learning more about St. George’s safety measures.

Wednesday, October 19
Traditionally the last service of the day before bedtime, this brief and beautiful service is set in a darkened church and sung by a small men’s choir. Join us in the Nave at 9:15pm and stay as long as you wish in this quiet space, departing in silence.

Coffee & Conversation
Hosted by the Senior Ministry every second Thursday, Coffee & Conversation is a gathering of folks to visit and get to know others - no agenda, no program, no reservations.
Hospitality for Organ Builders
The organ builders work at the church every day and will be here for a few months as progress continues. Will you help us offer them a little southern hospitality by providing lunches one day?
Afghan Regufee Family Ministry
A core team of volunteers is helping an Afghan family as they continue the process of settling in Nashville, working, attending school, and becoming acclimated to the area.

Bible Reading Plan

Read the Bible along with us each day to stay rooted in the word of God and prepare for Sunday worship.

Humphreys Street Coffee
Humphreys Street makes coffee in order to provide jobs and mentoring for teens and young adults. As one of our previous partners through SGEM, we are delighted to host them on Sunday mornings in the Gathering Space.
