An Invitation from Malone
St. George’s tradition of offering an opportunity for pilgrimage to historic and holy sites across our globe continues in early 2024. I am pleased to announce a journey to the Holy Land where we will experience both Galilee and Jerusalem, visiting sites which make the Scriptures come to life. From sailing on the Sea of Galilee, exploring northern Israel, walking the ancient streets of Jerusalem, and sharing Communion in the Garden of Gethsemane, our steps will often retrace those of Jesus Christ.
Additionally I am excited to say that our pilgrimage will begin in Egypt, the backdrop of much of the Old Testament and the home of the baby Jesus fleeing from King Herod. We will visit the Valley of the Kings, the Pyramids of Giza, and the Sphinx, among other interesting sites.
I hope you will join Mary and me as we travel as pilgrims to the cradle of our Christian faith. I promise you will be changed and your faith deepened along the way.
