Holy Week
Palm Sunday, March 29
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” We invite you to observe Palm Sunday with us this Sunday, March 24. Our services happen at the usual times, but there are some extra elements at 8:45 and 9:00am worship as we enter Holy Week.
As we sing and wave palms, we’ll process into the church together with the help of a donkey. The 8:45am service will begin in the grassy circle in front of the church, and The Table at 9:00 will begin at the West Entrance.
After these two services have concluded, we’ll share a parish reception in Hampton Hall. (No Sunday school this week!) Those with children are invited to visit the donkey by the gingko tree after worship until 11:00am.
Our 7:30am, 11:00am, and 5:00pm services will continue as usual.

A Note about Easter at St. George’s
Thanks for what you mean to this church and for all the ways you regularly welcome new people into our community. We know the reality facing families today means that sometimes we arrive at church in multiple vehicles. As an act of hospitality to newcomers in our midst, we encourage you to utilize the overflow parking available on Easter Sunday at Belle Meade Office Park (4525 Harding Pike) and to arrive with just one vehicle per family. You might even decide to carpool with a neighbor down the street. Regardless of how you arrive on Easter, we look forward to worshipping together with you on this special day.
