The Rev. Dr. Chris Jones joined St. George’s as Associate Rector on August 1, 2022. Previously he was Associate Professor of Theology and Director of the Doctor of Ministry program at Barry University in Miami Shores, FL. Chris holds a Ph.D. from Boston College, a Master of Philosophy from the University of Oxford, and a Master of Arts in Religion from Yale Divinity School. In addition to providing leadership for the sacramental, teaching, and pastoral life of the church, Chris works specifically to (1) develop our formation offerings as we seek to provide programming for all levels of Christian maturity, (2) grow our ministry to young adults, and (3) assist in the oversight of our traditional worship services. Chris is married to Cate Jones, our Director of Children’s and Family Ministries. Chris and Cate have three young children: Hannah, Rowan, and Madeleine.
