For many Christians, the church is simply a building that is used on Sundays. But according to Scripture and the broader Christian tradition, there is nothing else like it on earth.  It is more than an association, a movement, a gathering, or even a nation. The New Testament teaches us that it — we — are mysteriously joined together with God through his Son, and that such a fact changes everything.
