Gerry Senechal began his musical career at the age of eight when he became organist of his father’s Episcopal church. At ten, he joined the All Saints’ Men and Boys Choir of Worcester, Massachusetts, which profoundly influenced him both musically and liturgically. He served as the Music Intern at West End United Methodist Church in Nashville before coming to St. George’s in 2004. He is particularly passionate about his work directing the Choristers and Lay Clerks of St. George’s, who served as Choir-in-Residence at Washington National Cathedral in 2009 and will be at St. Mary’s, Edinburgh, Scotland in July of 2014. He holds degrees from the University of the South and Belmont University. His first recording, a Christmas organ album, will be released this Fall; one hundred percent of proceeds go directly to the Choristers’ tour to Scotland.

Laurel Fisher, Co-Director of St. Dunstan's Choir
Laurel Fisher co-directs St. Dunstan's Choir at St. George's. As a youth growing up in Orlando, FL, she was a member of the Orlando Deanery Girls Choir at St. Luke's Cathedral. During her time in that program, she was trained using the Royal School of Church Music Curriculum. This experience inspired her to pursue higher education in classical performance. She completed a Bachelors Degree in Music from Mars Hill University and a Master's in Vocal Performance from Western Carolina University. She has been an active performer and teacher for almost 15 years. She has performed in a number of productions and concerts with the Asheville Lyric Opera, Nashville Opera, Music City Baroque, Nashville Caroling Company and as a soloist for special performances across the Southeast. In 2008, she joined the choir at St. George's and in 2012 began directing St. Dunstan's Choir. Her love for liturgical worship combined with her desire to train children in music has made her a great addition to the St. George's music staff.
