Grand Reopening Sunday, May 18th

As most of you have noticed, our parish Bookstore has been closed in recent weeks in order to undertake a complete inventory and to transition into new management. The Bookstore will re-open on May 18th, the Sunday of our annual parish picnic.

I express my deepest gratitude for the service of Becky Clayton who has offered her energies and expertise as manager since the Bookstore’s founding. This ministry has been a genuine labor of love for Becky. As she is retiring from this role, I share the collective gratitude of the entire parish with Becky for this significant contribution to our common life over the years.

It is also appropriate to thank Jean Hastings who has also had vital role with the Bookstore as our primary resource for ordering and requesting books. Thank you, Jean!

I am very pleased to announce that Sally Graham has accepted the invitation to manage the Bookstore. With you, I look forward to her new ministry and the re-opening of the Bookstore on May 18th.

The St. George’s Bookstore is a treasured resource for our continuing formation as Christians as well as for lovely gifts. One way to show our gratitude for this ministry is to take advantage of it. So come shop with us! We’d love to serve you.
