"In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and in trust shall be your strength." (Isaiah 30:15)
The season of Lent offers a time of self-reflection and deepening our walk with God. St. George’s is approaching Lent this year with perhaps more intentionality and purpose than ever before. Returning and Rest: An Interactive Prayer Journey offers a means to begin Lent with a focus towards our inner spiritual lives as well as the influence and community we share with people around us.
Returning and Rest is a self-guided prayer journey that encourages reflection, revelation, sacrifice, and commitment.
Our creative Lenten Prayer Stations will continue to be offered on a weekly basis through Wednesday, April 4. The Stations will be rotated on a weekly basis and will be located in the prayer room adjacent to Johnson Hall. (Enter Johnson Hall by the elevator and proceed to the prayer room on the opposite wall.)
If you are bringing a small group, we ask that you notify the church (385-2150 x 262 or reserve@stgeorgesnashville.org) so we can help maintain a quiet, peaceful, prayerful experience for everyone.
Prayer Station hours (available through April 4):
Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm
Wednesdays: extended until 8:00pm
Saturdays: 9:00am - Noon
Sundays: 11:30am - 5:00pm (please be courteous of Sunday morning services in Johnson Hall)
