Leave winter behind and come to South Africa with Fr. Malone Gilliam for the trip of a lifetime. Join the South Africa Outreach Team as we embark on two major projects:
1. Building a new bedroom for a family of 5 children orphaned by AIDS
2. Tending to the St. Thomas/St. George’s greenhouse gardens which feed 100 students (also orphaned by AIDS) at the Tsholetsega School near St. Thomas.
But this trip is not just about building a bedroom and tending to gardens. This trip is an opportunity to experience the South African culture through our friends at St. Thomas, to learn about South Africa’s history, and to see South Africa’s natural beauty.
Depart Friday, March 9 and return either Sunday, March 18 or Monday, March 19. Cost should not exceed $3100. Airfare accounts for approximately $1800 of the cost.
