Welcome to St. George's Church

Welcome to St. George’s, and thank you very much for visiting our website! If you are considering a new church home, we would be delighted to have you join us. If you are simply seeking information about the parish, we hope you find this site helpful.

As rector since early 2005, I share that ours is a church blessed with a rich history, many gifts and wonderful people, but one also eagerly embracing an exciting future. My simple vision for St. George’s is that we be a Christ-centered community of faith committed to inspiring and traditional Anglican worship, deepened discipleship in our walk with the Lord, and committed service to the world via enhanced outreach and mission. There is great energy and passion for God’s plans here, and again, we would love to have you join us in this holy calling.

If you have any questions about our church, I trust you will feel free to contact us by email info@stgeorgesnashville.org, telephone (385-2150), or better yet, by coming to worship with us in the near future.

Once again, thank you for visiting St. George’s website, and may God’s peace and blessings be with you.

In Christ,
The Rev. R. Leigh Spruill, Rector

Welcoming Our Newcomers

St. George’s has a very active, hands-on Newcomers Committee. Once you complete a pew card during church, a volunteer from the Newcomers Committee will contact you and take you under his/her wing. The volunteer will be available to answer any questions you might have and help you find your niche at St. George’s.

Download a copy of our Welcome Kit to learn all about St. George's!  Hard copies are available in the Narthex Welcome Center.
