St. Gregory's Choir

The Youth Choir of St. George’s, now known as St. Gregory's Choir, is made up of 8th through 12th graders who love to sing and lead worship. In addition to making regular contributions to Sunday morning services, they lead the congregation in worship several times a year through the beautiful service of Choral Evensong. Fresh from St. George’s pilgrimage to Winchester, England in August of 2008, where they sang in a 900 year-old Cathedral, they are ready to bring powerful musical devotion to our parish. St. Gregory's Choir also has lots of fun; twice a year the choir holds day-long retreats that combine singing, games, movies, and lots of good food. This year, they will be exploring other off-site fun events.
St. Gregory's Choir has many singers that received their musical training through the St. Dunstan’s Choir. Because of this experience, these singers were able to jump right in to more challenging music sung. While there is a natural flow of St. Dunstan’s choristers to St. Gregory's, the choir also welcomes anyone from 8th to 12th grade with prior musical experience. The director, Gerry Senechal, is always happy to speak with prospective singers. Feel free to email Gerry anytime or call him at the church at 385-2150 x 252.
St. Gregory’s singers are Ben Bailey, Ellie Bailey, Davis Camp, Whitley Cargile, Mia Elbon, Rachel Elbon, Sarah Gerenday, Jackson Hastings, Rachel Overby, Sarah Overby, Leah Rose, Eleanor Weeks, and Emory Williams.
