What is GEORGE? It’s not a place, but a people.
GEORGE is a community of young professionals, both single and married, from in-and-around Nashville who desire to spend time together thinking and talking about God, to learn and laugh and grow together, and to reach beyond ourselves to serve the world around us. Unlike many traditional church meetings or fellowship opportunities, GEORGE is a dynamic gathering of individuals who may describe themselves as “passionate disciples of Jesus” or “committed, questioning Christians” or even “curious and undecided.” GEORGE is committed to growth in Christ-likeness, but you’ll find no pressure to conform to an elusive image of the ideal Christian. Wherever you are in your journey of faith, GEORGE invites you to join in on something really good. Take a look around and give us a shout if you have any questions, or if you’d simply like to learn more about who we are, what we do and whom we follow.

Are you on Facebook? Stay connected with GEORGE members, events, and announcements by joining the group "GEORGE" on Facebook. Invite your friends to join as well.
New Class for Young Adults!
Grace in Life: Grace Changes Everything
The Rev. Sarah Kerr
December 7th and 14th
6:30-7:45pm, Library
How do you live out the gospel in life between Sunday morning and Saturday morning? Come join other young adults in their 20s and 30s on Wednesdays this fall as we look at ways to answer that question.
Gospel in Life is an eight-week course from author and pastor Tim Keller on the gospel and how it is lived out in all of life— first in our hearts, then in community, and out into the world.
Week 1 opens the course with the theme of the city: our home now, the world that is. Week 8 closes the course with the theme of the eternal city: our heavenly home, the world that is to come. In between we will look at how the gospel changes our hearts (weeks 2 and 3), changes our community (weeks 4 and 5), and changes how we live in the world (weeks 6 and 7). This curriculum includes a study guide, which will be available for $10.
It’s not necessary to RSVP for this series, but if you plan on coming, please contact Sarah Kerr at sarah.kerr@stgeorgesnashville.org.
